石山哲也1973年生于日本琦玉县，雕塑和器皿是他创作的主要构成。每一件器皿于他，同雕塑的创作是相同的。作品中所关注的“边缘”是器物与水相融时的角度，厚厚的釉面所表现的不仅仅是清润的色泽，也在乎于让角度更加柔软。在这些朴素而柔软的创作中，加之金、银彩的工艺。

Tetsuya Ishiyama was born inSaitama Prefecture in Japan. He focuses on sculptures and vessels as mainelements of his creative practice. Each vessel embodies the samesignificant meaning for him as his sculptures. Ishiyama’s art works focuson the“boundary”, which divides the object into hemispheres specific to anintentional angle. The thick glazes are not only formal color choices, but alsoused to emphasize the angle of its upright posture.He’s utilizes gold andsilver luster to create a balance amongst his surface and form in order toconvey simplicity and softness.
