COVID Test Information No More Required for Entering into China

According to a Notice issued in the official Wechat account of the General Administration of Customs on 25^th of August, 2022, a new version (the ninth version) of health declaration form will be put into use starting from August 31. By then,  international visitors could report their health status online by filling out a form on related mini program.

The new form removed requirement for information regarding nucleic acid test, previous infections and vaccination dates. In addition, according to the customs, the ninth version of the declaration form also improved or adjusted some items that often raised questions for travelers, making it more convenient to understand and fill in.

It seems the adjustment is mainly to facilitate the entry and exit of personnel. Staring from August 31, all entry personnel are subject to the "7+3" policy, regardless of whether there was a nucleic acid test overseas.

1.取消了对出入境人员核酸检测信息、既往感染情况、疫苗接种日期的申报要求。

2.对以往出入境人员容易产生疑问的项目进行了完善或调整，更利于出入境人员理解和填写。

3.增加了在线确定《采样知情同意书》的功能，更加方便进出境旅客简化现场检疫流程，共同做好口岸一线卫生检疫工作，保护好身后祖国和人民的健康安全。
