马修是英国人，家住中航公元小区，在格特拉克传动系统有限公司工作，在赣州已生活工作了4年时间，能用中文进行交流。在隔离期间，章贡区高效有力的工作措施让他印象深刻，他也将在赣州看到的一切告诉了远在英国的家人。“在这里我感觉非常安全，非常快乐！”采访中，马修说，现在英国的疫情不容乐观，他每天会通过电话和远在英国的外公、外婆和妈妈视频聊天，将在赣州的一切告诉他们。“我妈妈叫我回英国，但我告诉她们，这里很安全，当地政府通过强有力的疫情防控措施，在短短一个半月时间内就将疫情完全控制住，效率之高让世界惊叹！”马修告诉记者，他所在公司的防疫措施也做得非常细致。“工厂里每天都要进行消杀，每个人出入都必须测量体温，工作就餐时每人之间都保持着1到1.5米的距离，这些举措让疫情得到很好的控制，这些都得力于政府强有力的防疫宣传和防疫指导，让人印象非常深刻！”“我经常告诉远在英国的家人和朋友，出门一定要戴上口罩，要勤洗手，家里要常通风，要严格按照要求做好隔离，能不外出就不要外出，只有这样才能有效阻断疫情扩散。”马修说，这里的防疫措施值得学习推广，能在中国赣州生活工作，是一件非常幸福的事情。社区的暖心服务让人倍感温馨
疫情虽能隔离彼此的距离，却无法阻断心与心的靠近，只要一声问候、一条短信，就是一份直抵人心的温情和慰藉。“隔离期间，社区工作人员免费为我提供各种服务，特别是社区主任曾花，24小时贴心服务‘不打烊’，每天给我送新鲜的食材，还帮我清理生活垃圾，隔两天探望问候，测量体温，只要一个微信一个电话，就能立刻帮我解决遇到的困难。”感谢信

I would like to express my deepest gratitude for all the support you all have given me on my return to Ganzhou during these difficult times.
The countermeasures and care taken by all involved has been fantastic and I have been very happy to abide by the rules and regulations set in place as
results show that it has worked.
I have seen daily what measures the company has taken to ensure that safety comes first and the regulations have been enforced strictly yet
fair and as a team everyone has worked hard to ensure that all details have been accounted for. I would like to thank our plant management and HR team,
especially Mr. Wu, Mr. Luo, Ms. Zhang and Ms. Hu for their support in arranging my return to Ganzhou and the office, the efforts have not gone unnoticed
and my colleagues in Europe are extremely surprised in how well the company has been able to fight through these difficult times.
I would also like to show my appreciation for the apartment compound in Ganzhou. The team had done a great job in supporting me when
necessary and made my stay at home the last 14 days much easier!
Currently in Europe the epidemic is getting very serious. Unfortunately our communities and governments cannot enforce such strict
countermeasures to control the situation. I have given my friends and family the advice I have received form the local authorities here in China to
pay attention to health and safety. I wish and hope that the rest of the world can follow the way the Chinese government and population have acted to
control the epidemic in such an efficient and timely way. It is truly amazing seeing a nation come together and fight to control this epidemic in such
a way, the local and central governments have acted in exactly the right way and can will hopefully become a benchmark in crisis management in the future!
Many people ask me why I am so happy here in Ganzhou and the easy answer is because of the kind natured welcoming people and throughout
the past weeks the care that has been show really proves to me once again that this is true and I am extremely happy to live in such a wonderful place.
