Conference: DAAD TU Berlin Online Seminar - Energy Transition in Africa, Cooperations and Networks to Strengthen North-South and South-South Interventions

Dates: October 25 - 29, 2021

Target: Alumni of TU Berlin and of other German institution of higher education/non-university research institute who are actively involved in the energy sector, be it in government, academia, or industry and who are from or based in Africa. Guests are also welcome to join.

Exhibition: 'Awakening the Senses', in the framework of the DAAD TU Berlin Online Seminar - Energy Transition in Africa, Cooperations and Networks to Strengthen North-South and South-South Interventions

November 1-5, 2021, the week after the online seminar, a physical photo & video exhibition will take place, showcasing the material gathered from participating Rwandan organizations.
The exhibition will include audio recordings, videos (including 360° videos), and photos. The aim is to enable the audience to see for themselves the protagonists of the energy transition in Rwanda, how they work, who they are, and their urban and rural realities.

Dates: November 1 - 5, 202; open from 14:00 - 17:00 CET every day

Target: Open to everyone

Location: Embassy of The Republic of Rwanda to Germany, Jägerstr. 67-69, 10117 Berlin, open from 14:00 - 17:00 CET every day. Three time slots will be offered each day, at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.

Conference: Regional Forum on Green Finance - Microfinance Resilience to Climate Change

The purpose of the Regional Green Finance Forum will be to create a space for learning and knowledge exchange on climate change and natural resource management in Central America and the Caribbean; the resilience of microfinance clients and institutions; and the role of the microfinance industry and support actors in the promotion and development of methodologies, tools, technologies and financial services aimed at MSMEs, for the adoption of good environmental practices and the identification of risks and opportunities in this area.
