在当代社会中，个体的私人空间与时间被海量的信息，密集的劳动与生存焦虑所占据。人们不仅在物理层面缺乏睡眠，精神居所也逐渐被现实所侵蚀。于是在此次展览中，我把展览空间改造成了一个夜间开放的睡眠场域，让白领、城市流浪者、失眠者和观众有机会脱离日常时间，进入一段久违的阻滞时间。
作品简介：
有一次在摩洛哥旅行时，我乘坐的火车出现了故障，在半路滞留了很长时间。期间有很多旅客下车散步，车厢里的我里酷热难耐却又无事可做。于是我透过车窗观察那些随着铁轨漫步的摩洛哥人，并用手机拍摄了一段视频，在拍摄过程中我产生了一种脱离自己当时所处时空的感受。回国后，有一天我看到父母在房间里熟睡，突然想到了之前拍摄的那段影像。父母的卧室和我当时所处的那节车厢似乎产生了某种化学反应。是当时的那个我回到了家里，还是从未出过国的父母躺在摩洛哥的那列旧火车上缓缓移动?

艺术家简介：
赵煦，导演，艺术家。1992 年出生于内蒙古，2013 年辍学于伦敦艺术大学温布尔登艺术学院，现居北京。2018年他的电影《丘山》入围第二届西湖国际纪录片大会，同时该片作为闭幕电影参加了集美·阿尔勒国际摄影季并于尤伦斯当代艺术中心新亚洲影志展映。他的短片《关于城里的羊》于2015 年获第十二届北京独立影像展评委会奖并被栗宪庭电影基金收藏，该片同时入围第十二届中国独立影展，第六届伦敦华语视像艺术节，以及伦敦We are the People Film Festival 等影展。

In modern society, individual private spaces are always occupied by massive information, dense workforce and survival anxieties. This reality not only causes luck of sleep, but also gradually devours our spiritual spaces. Therefore, in this exhibition, I turned the art space in to a night sleeping field. I try to make white-collared workers, homeless people, sleepless people and all audiences get rid of daily schedules and enter into a stranded time that was lost for long.
Introduction of work:
I was once stuck on railway when I was travelling in Morocco because the train I took broke down halfway. During the time of waiting, many passengers got off and walked along the rail. I felt hot and boring inside the carriage so that I watched those passengers through the window and shot a video with my phone. When I was filming, it felt like I got rid of the time and space that I was in. Back to China, I found my parents sleeping in their bedroom one day. Suddenly that scene reminded me of the video I shot before. The bedroom of my parents and the train carriage overlapped in my mind. Whether the I in Morocco come back home, or my parents who have never been aboard sleeping in that slow-moving train?
Artist’s Biography:
Zhao Xu, film director and artist, born in Inner Mongolia in 1992 and dropped out of UAL Wimbledon Art College in 2013, based in Beijing now. His first feature film “Hills and Mountains” was selected by West Lake International Documentary Festival in 2018. It was also the closing film in 2017 JIMEI x ARLES INTERNATIONAL PHOTO FESTIVAL and was screened at UCCA “New Asian Scenery” Program. In 2015, his short documentary film “Regarding Lambs in the City” won the jury prize of the 12th Beijing Independent Film Festival and was sought after by Li Xianting Film Fund. It was also selected by the 12th China independent film festival, the 6th Chinese Visual Festival and London We Are the People Film Festival. Besides films, his works also include paintings and video installations.

C5CNM 是 C5art 的艺术展览项目，地处798艺 术区，展示面积 475 x 525 cm，挑高 348 cm，主要从事具有实 验性的当代艺术活动。空间由艺术家金宁宁设计，意在打破传统上的中性展示空间，使艺术家在合作或拒绝中寻找新的展示方式，加强了空间的社会性。
“他的作品“是”，而非“在”这个空间。当展示空间本身是艺术家的作品，意味着未来的展览趣味将是身体性的，指向混合、叠加和即兴这类难以界定的感受。”
目前空间已开始展览，今后将更多的融入使用不同媒介的艺术家，也会和艺术机构进行项目合作，通过不间断的举办小型短期的展览、艺术活动，期待能够成为活跃的当代艺术实验平台。
