近日,海嘉国际双语学校正式对外发布“学术奖学金”和“卓越奖学金”项目。奖学金的设立,旨在鼓励在校生追求卓越,培养其独立精神,并吸引更多志同道合、学术出色、能够为学校和社区作出贡献的优秀学生加入海嘉。

学术奖学金
项目介绍
学术奖学金仅授予升入六年级、九年级和十一年级的学生。奖学金的重点在于奖励杰出的学术能力。学生需参加有关数学、科学、中文及英文科目的考试。
奖学金要求
优秀的学术能力;
通过相应的数学、科学、中文及英语科目的考试;
申请流程
提交申请——通过考试——提交成绩报告——面试
奖学金等级金额:
1
免除 100%学费;
2
免除 50%学费;
3
免除 25%学费;
备注:
学术奖学金考试成绩通过后,奖学金申请者需携带一份最近的成绩报告、WIDA 或 学校考试成绩的复印件来参加面试。未携带这些成绩复印件的学生将不予考虑。

卓越奖学金
项目介绍:
此奖项授予在艺术、体育及音乐等方面有杰出才能的学生。
我们在授予卓越奖学金时,会考虑学生过去的成就和未来的潜力。申请人应具备较强的学术能力,并且展示出与学校精神文化相契合的品格。我们鼓励在视觉艺术与创造艺术、音乐及运动等领域有杰出才能的学生申请此项奖学金。
奖学金的授予基于学生的考试成绩、面试、以往的学校报告、试演(仅指钢琴、音乐和声乐)及其他信息,如推荐信和展示运动特长的个人视频资料等。 ·
奖学金要求:

卓越奖学金:
免除 10%-30%学费。
备注:
我们邀请那些在所有或部分以上所提及领域有杰出经历和成就的学生申请此项奖学金。良好的学术水平是奖学金授予的必要条件。获奖者须参与学校及其社团课程。
奖学金申请时间:
学术奖学金考试时间为:5月4日上午9点至12点
考试科目包括:英语阅读、英语语言应用、数学、科学、中文。
卓越奖学金的面试时间将单独通知申请者,拟定为5月初左右。
奖学金结果将于5月底公布,获得奖学金的学生家长将收到通知。

申请须知:
1、学术奖学金和卓越奖学金只能选择其中一项,二者不兼得。
2、奖学金的考试和审核在海嘉北京校区进行。
3、奖学金减免学生全部或部分学费,校服、校车、午餐、课外活动或年度户外游学活动不在奖学金范围内。
4、奖学金授予有稳定的优秀的学术表现及对社区有卓越贡献的学生。被授予奖学金的学生需要每年重新接受奖学金资格审核。
5、奖学金的授予条件是申请学生将一直在海嘉就读直至完成十二年级全部中学课程。如果学生在此之前转学,家长或监护人需要退还所接受的减免金额。在特殊情况下,校长可能酌情减免被要求退还金额。
6、奖学金每年颁发一次,从 2019-2020 学年开始并持续到下列时间段:
升入 6 年级学生: 3 年 ·
升入 9 年级学生: 2 年 ·
升入 11 年级学生: 2 年
7、被授予奖学金的学生需要每年重新接受奖学金资格审核。

Here at BIBA we are always looking at ways to strengthen and enhance the learning potential of our students. BIBA is one of the fastest growing schools in Beijing and it is our goal to offer high quality bilingual education to every student. In an effort to make a quality education within reach we are very excited to announce the introduction of the BIBA Scholarship Program. Below, we provide detailed information about the program, what types of scholarships that are available and who is eligible.
BIBA SCHOLARSHIPS
Implementation will begin on March 11, 2019
We encourage current and prospective students to apply for our scholarships. BIBA is committed to providing a wide range of learning opportunities across all areas of the curriculum, nurturing individual students’ potential and providing diverse learning opportunities.
Our scholarships have been established to acknowledge and foster the development of students with special talents and to encourage their contributions within the school and wider community. Our scholarships are highly competitive, and are open to current and prospective students.
Only students living permanently in China are eligible for scholarship examinations at Beijing International Bilingual Academy. Students currently holding ongoing scholarships in another school are not eligible. Examinations and auditions are administered at our Beijing Campus.
We invite students with an outstanding academic record to apply for our Academic Scholarships or those students with exceptional artistic or sporting ability to apply for the High Achievement Scholarship. These scholarships offer full or part remission of tuition fees, and do not apply to uniform, bus, lunch, activities or excursion/trip fee component of annual fees.
Scholarships are conditional upon criteria including sound academic progress and active participation in the school’s extra-curricular programme. The progress of recipients is reviewed annually.
The offer of a Scholarship is made on the condition that the Student remains enrolled at BIBA until he/she completes their secondary schooling to the end of Grade 12. If the Student was to leave the School before that time, the parent/s (or guardian/s) will be required to repay the amount of fee remission received up to that time. The Principal may waive this obligation, or reduce the amount required to be repaid, in exceptional circumstances.
Academic Scholarship:
100% off the tuition fee
50% off the tuition fee
25% off the tuition fee
High Achiever Scholarship:
10%-30% off the tuition fee
Scholarships are conducted yearly and last for the following periods of time commencing 2019-2020:
· Entering Grade 6: 3 years
· Entering Grade 9: 2 years
· Entering Grade 11:2 years
We offer two different types of scholarships:
1. Academic Scholarship
2. High Achiever Scholarship
Applicants must choose only one of the above categories.
Academic Scholarship
Exam/reports/interview
Academic scholarships will only be available for students entering Grade 6, Grade 9 and Grade 11 the focus is on exceptional academic excellence. Students will be examined on Mathematics, Science, Chinese and English. Please note that students currently holding ongoing scholarships at another school will not be considered.
If shortlisted, (after examination results) the Scholarship applicants are required to bring a copy of their most recent school reports and/or WIDA or School exam/test results to their interview. Applications may not be considered without a copy of these results. Successful candidates will be notified by the Principal in writing and scholarships must be accepted within the stipulated time. The school’s decision is final and no subsequent discussion will be entered into.
High Achiever Scholarship

This Scholarship is for those students with exceptionally high artistic, sporting and/or musical talent.
Past achievements and future promise are considered when awarding High Achiever scholarships. Applicants should have strong academic ability and must display qualities consistent with the ethos of the school. Students who excel in an area such as visual and creative arts, music & sport are encouraged to apply.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of examination results, an interview, previous school reports and auditions (Piano, Music and Vocal only) and other information such as referrals and videos of sport performance.

school life and the wider community.
Students who have significant experience and achievement in some or all of these fields are invited to apply. A sound academic standard is also necessary. Award recipients will be required to commit to the school and its co-curricular programmes. The progress of recipients is reviewed annually.
After reviewing all applications and exams, the selection panel invites a shortlist of candidates to attend interviews. Original versions of the student’s latest school report and test/examination results must be brought to the interview. Selection is by level of achievement and interview. Successful candidates will be notified by the Principal in writing and scholarships must be accepted within the stipulated time. The school’s decision is final and no subsequent discussion will be entered into.
Terms and Conditions:
The amount and number of scholarships awarded is at the discretion of the School leadership. All information is private and confidential and will not be shared.
Decisions are final and will not be negotiated.
Scholarship awarded is only applicable to the tuition fee
In the case of a student’s success of being awarded a scholarship, any previous agreements on financial aid that has been made with the school will be discontinued.
Student’s academics and behaviour will be monitored continually to ensure continued excellence and ongoing scholarship.
The scholarships are reviewed on an annual basis and it is the School’s expectation that recipients of scholarships maintain a high academic standard and performance throughout their schooling and represent the School as and when requested.
The School reserves the right to withdraw a scholarship from any scholarship holder.
