About Bob Dylan Retrospectum Exhibition
在二十世纪的文化史上，鲍勃·迪伦一直是无法被忽略的名字。作为摇滚与民谣音乐的代表人物、歌手、诗人，他曾在2016年因“在美国歌曲传统中创造了新的诗意表达”被赋予当年的诺贝尔文学奖，长久以来，他也被人们称为“摇滚乐的桂冠诗人”。然而在其长达近六十年的职业生涯中，鲜少被人提起的是他作为视觉艺术家的成就——作为艺术家，他的创作领域涵盖了油画、丙烯、水彩、粉彩、炭笔素描及金属雕塑等。本次艺术大展予以观众更为深度、立体的多元艺术体验。这场史诗级的回顾展超过140件作品中，展出了迪伦包含油画、素描、水彩、手稿、丙烯等架上创作，其鲜为人知的工业金属雕塑，以及记录了职业生涯发展不同阶段的影像资料和手稿等。展览以全景式的铺陈方式，完整地勾勒了迪伦的视觉创作系统，也以不同的方式呈现了在这位影响了全世界的“文化巨人”的艺术创作中的另一种声音。
Undoubtedly, Bob Dylan has had a long-lasting impact on the 20th century. As a world- renowned musician, songwriter, and poet, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016 for “having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition.” However, his artistic achievements often went unappreciated. As an artist, his creations ranged from oil, acrylic, and watercolor, to graphite and metal sculptures.
The Retrospectrum exhibition presenting over 140 pieces of original artwork, including oil, sketches, watercolor, handwritten lyrics, acrylic, and metal sculptures. Moreover, the panoramic scenography of the exhibition thoroughly illustrates Dylan's creative process through unique perspectives.
