People hear a private chat
Sometimes we all say things we don't want others to hear, but rarely do we broadcast them to an entire city. Two unfortunate members of the Winnipeg[温尼伯] Police Service helicopter Air One were on routine patrol[巡逻;巡查] over the Canadian city this week when they inadvertently[不注意的,漫不经心的,粗心大意的] activated the aircraft’s public address system.
What the public heard on the ground below was interesting to say the least[1] and some took to Twitter to describe the experience. This tweet gives you some idea as to the conversation’s lewd[2] content, another offering a lesson familiar to more regular broadcasters about the danger of live microphones.
In a statement, Winnipeg Police said the officers couldn't hear the public address system from inside the chopper[直升机]. They sincerely apologised to all members of the public, especially those who overheard the broadcast and said the incident is being reviewed.
