在CNBC的标题中同样出现了reckless这一说法，CNBC引用了斯坦福大学著名生物伦理学家汉克·格里利（Hank Greely）的看法，称其为“criminally reckless”，中文媒体凤凰网科技将其编译为“极其鲁莽的”。

"It is imperative that the scientists responsible for this work fully explain their break from the global consensus that application of CRISPR-Cas9 for human germline editing should not proceed at the present time."
