We’ve been trying to fix our auto-reply system since it got bombed by questions about our post last Wednesday. In order to save our service guy, we decided to draft a side post to answer your questions and we put a survey at the end to collect your suggestions. (Concerning the number of features that BOILER ROOM has on foreign media, we figured it won’t be necessary to have that post in English.) As for the question that we’ve been asked the most—“When will the tickets be released?” The answer is, now, as you're reading this.

After two amazing years exploring the Chinese underground in 2016 and 2017, Boiler Room is back to catch up with the thriving scene in the People's Republic. For our first show we’re connecting Beijing and Shanghai with two major hubs of electronic underground music: New York and Berlin.

VOLVOX
作为来自布鲁克林地下场景的主导力量，Volvox因其硬核粗粝的techno和律动十足的酸性set而闻名。成长在纽约水牛城，早年在美国工业及锐舞场景中的经历塑造了她在跳舞文化中的独特形象。这次将是她第一次踏足中国。
A dominant force on the Brooklyn underground scene, Volvox is known for tough, stripped-back techno and groovy, acid-flavored sets. Raised in Buffalo, New York, she has been a busy DJ and event producer since 2006. This will be her debut show in China.
FADI MOHEM
生于柏林的Fadi Mohem主修音响工程专业,作为混音&录音工程师的业余工作经历对他的制作技巧起到了极大的帮助。相较于跟风，Fadi Mohem始终在尝试用自己的想法填充他的音乐。他用现代的手法凝聚复古鼓点并与底特律Techno调和出一种别样的亲切感。
Raised in the outskirts of Berlin, Fadi Mohem‘s studies in Sound Engineering and the subsequent work as a Mix & Recording Engineer improved his technical skills and the sound of his own productions. Instead of following trends, Fadi Mohem always seeks to fulfill his own sound ideals. His tracks express a deep affinity with old school dub and Detroit techno forged through razor-sharp modern production.
L+R WANG LU & YU MIAO
L+R是电子音乐制作人王璐的个人音乐计划。有着10多年流行音乐的制作经历，王璐一直在尝试将科技性、实验性融入大量中国古典戏曲元素，用西方手段表达东方哲学思想，用电子音乐表达高山流水，以达到听觉的美好体验。于淼，6岁习古筝，通过独特的演奏方式和东西方乐器的混搭。此次BOILER ROOM将由L+R 王璐 & 于淼打破传统形式的表演开场。
L+R is Wang Lu’s solo electronic music project. Having worked in the pop music industry as a producer for over 10 years, Wang Lu started his own experimentation using electronic techniques presented in oriental philosophy and ancient Chinese music. Yu Miao is L+R’s live partner playing Guzheng. Her unique method of playing the guzheng has provided new possibilities for this ancient Chinese instrument to work with modern western instruments. L+R & Yu Miao will open up the BOILER ROOM this time with their unconventional performance.
SUN MENG
Sun Meng以90年代HipHop音乐作为自己DJ的灵感来源，并一直尝试寻找隐藏在音乐中的人生哲学，身为一位思想行为怪异的DJ，她的Set总是可以给听者带来不一样的感受。
Inspired by the soul of 90s Hip Hop, Sun Meng’s solid beats and eccentric sets often include big surprises for listeners.
ZHIQI
Zhiqi同时兼有DJ，音乐人，平面设计师，视觉艺术家以及活动策划等多重身份。ShadowPlay厂牌的联合创始人，植根于北京地下音乐文化核心， 十余年间初心不改，于2018年以联合创始人的身份加入电子音乐俱乐部“招待所”。
Zhiqi is a multifaceted talent in all areas. As co-founder of the internationally acclaimed label and event series Shadowplay he established himself in the heart of Beijing’s underground music scene.

TIJANA T
Tijana T是贝尔格莱德标志性的音乐人物。因其集聚能量的DJ混音，仙气十足的气质，撩人的House人声为世人所知，无愧于塞尔维亚为数寥寥的颇具国际影响力的艺人。她的DJ技术和表演魅力一路带她从贝尔格莱德来到伦敦、纽约，Ibiza。
Tijana T is a prominent figure in Belgrade's music and club life. Being known for her energetic DJ mixes, charismatic presence, sultry house vocals, this lady is one of the rare Serbian talents with an international reputation. Her skills behind the decks and charisma have brought her from Belgrade to Berlin, New York, Ibiza and back.
TEMPLE RAT
从2014年在成都地下场景中的崭露头角，Temple Rat的音乐里总是融合大自然和古老东方宗教元素，再与新颖的电子音乐碰撞，总是能擦出令人耳目一新的火花。
Inspired by her passion for the electronic music of Chengdu’s hyped underground clubs, Temple Rat always explores the combination of traditional Chinese folk music with minimalistic techno tunes.
DJ DOGGY
佘鸣宇aka DJ Doggy，中国电子音乐制作人，目前音乐风格以Deep House, Lo-Fi House, Techno为主，擅长的深邃又律动感十足的44拍音乐。
Mingyu Sheh aka DJ Doggy, an electronic music producer with a style that shifts between Deep House, Lo-Fi House, and Techno. He is often seen smashing parties with his deep and groovy 4’4 beats.
MAX SHEN
Max Shen出生于上海, 运营Arkham俱乐部, 他创立电子音乐组织4x4x4x4, 开展House／Techno 跳舞运动在中国的发展, 引进当代电子音乐艺术家文化交流。
Max Shen was born in Shanghai. He runs Arkham club and electronic music group 4x4x4x4. He carries out the development of house/ techno dance in China and introduces current electronic music artists exchanges.
DEEP 19
上海最为优秀的Deep House和Techno电子音乐制作人兼DJ之一。自Deep 19多年前刚踏上电子音乐的旅程开始,就一直坚持除了给大家带来能跳舞的音乐，更重要的是将自己对生活、对情感的理解和诠释融入到自己的音乐中。
Deep 19 has long been one of the most respected house and techno DJs and producers in Shanghai. More than just spinning danceable tracks, he weaves an emotional story into his sets, moving crowds with a relentless passion and technical expertise gained from more than a decade behind the decks.
