What's the wiki for?

The wiki is for:

• Brainstorming

• Drafting documents to put on the main website later

• Building a community knowledge base to share information

It is not for:

• Self-promotion or advertising

• Long discussions (use Wechat or other chat apps for that)

• Anything you want to be closed

Creating a new Wiki page

• Type http://wiki.openvillage.org/doku.php/your_page_title into your browser's address bar and hit Enter. (Make_sure_you_use_underscores_(like_this)_not_spaces_in_the_URL)

• When the page has loaded, click on the pencil icon to the right.

• Type # Your page title in the big textbox and hit enter.

• Keep typing the rest of your page.

• Click Preview to check if your page looks okay.

• Click Save when it looks okay.

Editing the Wiki

• Click the pencil icon on the right

• Make your changes

• In the 'edit summary' box at the bottom, type in why you made a change

• Click 'Save'

• All done!
