"Hotel California" is a classic song by The Eagles. It was released in 1977 on The Eagles' fifth self-titled studio album, Hotel California.
After the baptism of the second World War, the whole of Europe and Asia are suffering from war sores. However, because the United States was far away from the main battlefields of Europe, it was spared the ravages of the war, so the rapid economic recovery after the war realized the dreams of many Americans. At the same time, also created a lot of rock and roll youth.
Comparatively speaking, the 1960s and 1970s were a time of great creative freedom for American music. The full popularity of rock music became the symbol of freedom and rebellious thought of the Beat generation in the 1960s and 1970s, but its unprecedented prosperity also brought infinite greed to those keen businessmen. Drug abuse and promiscuousness almost became the same degenerate road that every rock musician embarked on in the 1960s and 1970s, and money worship and hedonism became the unified label that permeated the rock musicians throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
As a rock band with a conscience, The Eagles saw this depraved reality and could do nothing about it. Across the music industry, rockers have embraced this lifestyle of addiction as the norm of rock 'n' roll, using sex and drugs as inspiration. Rock and roll players wild unruly character, always attract those from different races and different skin around the beautiful face. They often redeem themselves from external doubts: Relax, we are naturally susceptible to temptation. The whole music industry has been completely unable to get rid of the heart of the devil we all know, even if some individuals can temporarily end the temptation of the present reality, they can never get rid of the spirit, so as to embark on a road of no return.

Just to hear them say
"Welcome to the Hotel California

Mirrors on the ceiling, The pink champagne on ice
And she said 'We are all just prisoners here, of our own device'
And in the master's chambers, They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives
But they just can't kill the beast

but you can never leave!"
