New Process of Z-Visa Application You Must Know!

Since late December in 2016, Guangzhou State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (GZSAFEA) has taken over jobs of Labor Bureau handling foreign affairs. 

Thus, certain changes has taken place in Visa process and brought a lot of conveniences. Now, let's see!

BEFORE (6 steps)

 Pay Attention:

1.Bad record or expiry was found out during preliminary review in the past.

2.You had to finish preliminary review in Chinese mainland, and then apply for Foreigner Working Permit also in China after getting your Z-Visa from your country’s Embassy, which meat that if you intended to finish the Visa process, at least twice you needed to come to China.

AFTER (5 steps)

Pay Attention：

1.Bad record or expiry will be only found out before you finally get your China Z-Visa -- the last step in the new process. 

It means that once there is any bad record, it will be failed to get China Z-Visa! Thus, you need to confirm there is no bad record at all before your application.

2.You are not necessary make the application personally in China only if you have prepared all your documents needed in the Visa process and send to your attorney! 

After receiving Invitation Letters from China Bureau of Commerce and then getting Z-Visa in your country’s Embassy, you can get your China’s Z-Visa when you come to China later on! See, is it quite convenient for you?

Specifically, before applying for the Invitation Letter, 

you need to prepare:

Non-criminal Certificate 

(certified by Chinese Embassy).

Academic Certificate 

(certified by Chinese Embassy).

3

Certificate of Employment.

4

Medical Examination Report.

5

Fixed-phone number of 

your Chinese company.

Photocopies of Chinese employees’ID Cards 

and their contact information.

An one-inch ID photo of electronic version of white background.
