“

瑞安--我的中文名，这个名字是我敬爱的中国老师帮我起的。我来自巴基斯坦。中国那么大，最终我落在了长安大学——这个培养我的校园。在这个国家、这座城市、这座校园，我的收获远远大于我的预期，收获专业知识，体验中国文化，居然还收获了中国爱情，而且，就是在今年，我们的爱情也得到了双方父母的同意。

     带着家人的期待来到这里，当然最主要的目标还是学习。

     一年的课程学习，我在所有学位课程中取得了90+的优异成绩，并有18篇论文得到发表，其中SCI四篇 （一个已经同意），EI三篇，SCOPUS, ISTP。我的书 “Global Sourcing” 已经出版并开始发行。目前，我已基本结束新书的编辑工作（Strategic Supply Chain and Logistics Management），也正在撰写“Purchasing and Negotiation”的初稿，这两部书预计分别于2018年和2020年出版。

Global Sourcing

      在校学习期间，我积极参加各种学术性活动、竞赛，诸如学术会议、体育竞赛、演讲类比赛等等。也曾经受邀作为客座主讲人，会议委员会成员等出席中国、迪拜、巴基斯坦等国的国际学术会议。

      学术研究离不开实践，除了自己六年的物流工作经验之外，我还积极参加与专业相关的项目实践活动。这些实践经验在论文研究上起着举足轻重的作用。

Mr. Syed Abdul Rehman Khan is from Pakistan and his Chinese name is Rui An. He has achieved his CSCP—Certified Supply Chain Professional certificate from USA. He is studying doctorate degree at Chang’an University, China.

He came to China during 2014; it was really a challenging task for him to learn the most difficult language (Chinese). There are no doubt, his Chinese friends, teachers and specially his Chinese wife help him a lot with Chinese language, and also his parents motivate him to learn Chinese as quickly as possible with the help of God.

He has more than six years’ core experience of supply chain and logistics at industry and academic levels. Mr. Khan has attended several international conferences in Dubai, Pakistan, China, etc. ; Mr. Khan has also been invited as Guest Speaker, Keynote Speaker and Conference Committee Member in couple of  well-renowned international conferences. He has published one book on “Global Sourcing”. His second and third books --“Strategic Supply Chain” and “Purchasing and Negotiation” are expected to be published in 2018 and 2020 respectively.

Mr. Khan has published more than 18 research papers including ISTP, Scopus, SCI, SSCI, and EI indexed in different well-renowned international journals and conferences. Mr. Khan also holds Editorial Membership of two international journals.

In addition, Mr. Khan holds memberships in the following well-renowned institutions and supply chain bodies/associations: APCIS-U.S.; Supply Chain Council U.S.; Supply Chain Association of Pakistan; China Society of Logistics; USA Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
