Originally under the name “Tsinghua Xuetang”, Tsinghua University was founded in 1911 and is one of the most prestigious universities in China. Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management (Tsinghua SEM, or the School hereafter) was established in 1984, with Mr. ZHU Rongji as the founding dean. After 40 years of development, Tsinghua SEM has achieved remarkable results in talent cultivation, scientific research, social services, cultural heritage innovation and international exchanges and cooperation. It has taken the lead in obtaining the top two certifications of global management education AACSB and EQUIS and becomes a leading economics and management school in China. The school has about 6000 students in the undergraduate, doctoral, master’s, MBA and EMBA programs. Tsinghua SEM has a strong faculty team with about 160 full time faculty members.
“中国经济管理青年学者计划”背景介绍
Background Information
为进一步完善学院学科和人才布局，加强对中国经济管理理论与实践的系统研究，加大优秀青年人才的引进和培养力度，在学校政策的支持下，清华大学经济管理学院正式启动“中国经济管理青年学者计划”。
学院将专门设置中国经济管理青年学者研究助理教授系列岗位，按照助理教授/助理研究员的标准遴选，录取后的青年学者按照博士后研究人员办理入职手续，享受学院对青年教师的全方位资源支撑和专门的职业培养路径。
In order to strengthen the research on Chinese economy and management and further build up its world-class faculty, Tsinghua SEM officially launched the " Chinese Economy and Management Young Scholars Program " with the support of Tsinghua University.
The school has established a research-assistant-professor track specifically for this young scholars program. Candidates will be selected according to the similar standard of Tenure-Track Assistant Professor. While being enrolled as post-doctoral researchers, selected young scholars will receive comparable comprehensive support from the school in terms of resources and career development opportunities for regular junior faculty members.

任职要求
Qualifications
申请者应具有大学博士学位，年龄35岁以下，博士毕业三年以内；
具有较强的语言、文字表达能力，有教学热情，有较好的学术潜力；
博士期间专业为经济学、管理学、统计学、计算机或数据科学等相关学科优先考虑。
Applicants must hold a PhD degree conferred within three years, with age below 35;
Good academic training and excellent communication skills; passion for teaching and outstanding academic potential;
A doctoral degree in economics, management, statistics, computer or data science is preferred.

薪酬和福利待遇
Compensation and Benefits
薪酬：提供有竞争力的协议薪酬；学院协助申请清华大学“水木学者”称号。
在站期间享受公费医疗，并提供社会保险、职业年金、公积金、住房补贴等福利。
住房：协助解决住房问题，帮助申请校内周转公寓。
子女入学：依据全国博士后管理委员会办公室、北京市和学校相关政策规定，办理子女入园、入学。
Compensation: We provide competitive salary package; the School will assist in applying for the title of " Shui Mu Tsinghua Scholar" from the university.
Insurance and benefits: Free medical treatment, social insurances, occupational annuity, provident fund, housing subsidy and other benefits are provided.
Housing: Subsidized on-campus rental apartments are provided.
Children enrollment: In accordance with the relevant policies and regulations of the Office of the National Postdoctoral Management Committee, Beijing Municipality and Tsinghua University, children of the selected candidates could be admitted to the kindergarten and affiliated primary school.

工作职责和管理
Responsibilities and Support
入选后工作职责以科学研究为主，并适当承担教学辅助任务。完成学校和学院规定的新教师岗前培训和考核任务，申请并取得开课资格后，可以考虑单独承担教学任务。
须全职在清华大学工作，在站期间一般为三年。视个人业绩和工作需要，由本人申请，并通过学院评定，工作年限可以延长三年。
学院参照教师岗位的要求，将其纳入青年教师培养体系，提供各类教学技能培训、科研能力提升机会。
The main responsibilities of the selected candidates are scientific research, and appropriate teaching support tasks. After completing the training and assessment modules stipulated by Tsinghua University, and obtaining the teaching qualification, they may be considered to independently conduct course teaching.
Upon entry, selected candidates are required to work full-time at Tsinghua University. The duration of one contract is three years, and can be renewed for another three years depending on the candidate’s performance and discipline requirements.
Tsinghua SEM will include the candidates into the training system for junior faculty, and provide various opportunities for teaching skills training and research ability improvement.
