打开手机，看到直播画面，这一家人陷入了惊恐……
来自新西兰的七口之家，怎么也没想到，他们远渡重洋、不远千里来到爱尔兰，竟会遭遇无良民宿老板的偷拍。
当地时间4月1日，来自新西兰的Nealie Barker在脸书上爆料，他们一家七口上个月3号在爱尔兰旅行时，发现所租住的民宿房间内装有隐蔽式的微型摄像头，民宿老板将他们在房间内的一举一动都尽收眼底。

发现那个微型摄像头的是Nealie的丈夫Andrew，他是一名IT顾问，摄像头被秘密地安装在烟雾警报器中，它的监控范围包括客厅、餐厅和厨房。
"He scanned that device's ports and found the live video feed. We were all watching ourselves on his mobile phone," Barker said of the horrifying find. The camera offered a view of the living room, dining and kitchen area.
“他(Andrew)查看了那个装置的接口，发现了直播视频通道。我们在他的手机上看到了自己的影像，”Barker谈起那个恐怖的发现。那个摄像头的视野范围包括了客厅、餐厅和厨房。

酷爱旅行的Barker夫妇经常拖家带口地带着5个孩子一起周游世界。而民宿租赁平台爱彼迎(Airbnb)成了他们的最爱。
不过，经历了这个事件的Nealie坦言，尽管他们在旅途中有过不少奇特的或妙不可言的经历，自以为能够平静地处理好旅途中的大多数意外情况，但这次的事件还是让他们震惊不已。
尽管已经在爱彼迎平台上全款支付了房费，出于对他们孩子的保护，Barker一家还是决定立刻另觅住处。
"It was late at night, but we decided fairly quickly we didn't feel comfortable about staying at the house,” Barker said, and the crew spent the night at a hotel instead.
“那时已经是深夜了，但我们很快就决定，住在那个房子里很不舒服，”Barker说。随后一家人就在当晚住进了一家酒店。

不过，让他们一家生气的是，对于他们的投诉，民宿主人起先直接挂掉了电话，直到他们拿出了确凿的证据，民宿主人才承认确实在房子里安装了摄像头用来保护他的财产。
而事发一个多月后，爱彼迎才将这家民宿从他们平台上撤下。

更新：经过整整33天，又入住过10位毫不起疑心的客人后，今晚（4月5日）爱彼迎最终告诉我们，他们已经将这家民宿从他们平台上撤下。
Good first step, but they still have to change to a no tolerance policy around hidden cameras, better vetting of hosts and transparency around their "investigation" findings.
不错的第一步，但他们仍必须改变政策，在隐蔽式微型摄像头问题上绝不姑息，最好审查民宿主人，并将他们的调查的结果公之于众。

Airbnb's camera policy makes it clear that hidden cameras and other surveillance devices are prohibited. Visible cameras are also prohibited in bedrooms and bathrooms. If a host wants a camera in another area, it must be disclosed.
有关摄像头管理，爱彼迎明确规定了严禁使用隐蔽式摄像头以及其他监控设备。可见摄像头在卧室和浴室也是禁用的。假如房间主人想在其他地方安装摄像头，必须明确告知租客。
This hasn't stopped the problem of hidden cameras from popping up, however. Finding hidden cameras in hotel rooms and other vacation rentals has been a recently emerging trend.
但这个规定并没有解决不时曝光的隐蔽式摄像头问题。在酒店房间和其他度假场所发现隐蔽式摄像头成为近来的一个趋势。

也是在上个月，一伙犯罪分子在韩国10个城市中的30个酒店内的42个房间内安装微型摄像头，偷拍客人在房间内的活动，还将视频上传网络进行直播，受害者达到1600多名。
那出门在外，怎样才能在民宿、旅店中住得安心呢？为此，身为IT工程师的Andrew还特意在他的博客中展示了一些可能安装有微型摄像头的位置。
首先是烟雾探测器：

此外，英国萨里大学网络安全中心的Alan Woodward教授也教了几招查找隐蔽式摄像头的方法。
"Assuming the camera has some form of lens, you use a device that has a very bright light source and a viewfinder that allows you to scan for the reflections from the lens," Professor Alan Woodward from the Center for Cyber Security at the UK's Surrey University, told CNN.
“假设摄像头有镜头，你可以用具有明亮光源的设备和取景器来检测到反射自摄像头镜头的光线，”英国萨里大学网络安全中心教授Alan Woodward告诉CNN。
Some cameras can operate in the dark and to do that they need an infrared source, he added.
他补充说，一些摄像头为了可以在夜间工作，它们需要红外线源。
"If that were the case you could (assuming it's dark) turn off all the lights and use your forward-facing phone camera which tends not to have an IR filter fitted and so may see any IR illumination, assuming it's there."
