而在今天，中国90后区块链创业者孙宇晨在推特和微博宣布自己便是这位得标者。

Lunch with Warren Buffett—the prolific investor and fourth-richest person in the world—may be the ultimate power meal, offering a chance to learn about his biggest deals and pick his brain for investing advice. But those moneymaking tips will come at a cost. For the 20th year in a row, Buffett is auctioning off a lunch for the highest bidder to support one of his favorite charities, San Francisco’s Glide Foundation.

“Bitcoin has no unique value at all,” Buffett told CNBC’s Becky Quick in a “Squawk Box ” interview Monday. “It is a delusion, basically.”
“比特币根本没有独特的价值，”巴菲特周一在节目中接受CNBC记者Becky Quick采访时表示。“这基本上是一种幻想。”
The Berkshire Hathaway CEO said he is sympathetic to optimists who bought the world’s largest cryptocurrency in hopes that “it would change their lives.”

Bitcoin has lost more than 80 percent of its value since reaching a high near $20,000 at the end of 2017. The cryptocurrency was trading near $3,781 on Monday, according to CoinDesk.

“It attracts charlatans,” Buffett said. “If you do something phony by going out and selling yo-yos or something, there’s no money in it — but when you get into Wall Street, there’s huge money.”

Buffett has been a long-time critic of cryptocurrency. He called bitcoin “probably rat poison squared,” ahead of the 2018 Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholder meeting. A “mirage,” “not a currency,” and “tulips” are among the descriptors Buffett has used for bitcoin, according to CNBC’s Warren Buffett Archive.

“It is very common in investment circles that people will change their minds,” Sun said in a telephone interview. “Investment opportunities are best when lots of people are underestimating the technology.”

而那些“钱花的很值”的赢家们后来发展如何呢？
在孙宇晨之前已有三位中国“赢家”。
2006年，步步高集团创始人段永平以62.01万美金得标。而近几年风靡的vivo和oppo手机，背后都有段永平的参与。
Back in 2006, Chinese businessman Duan Yongping won the bid and took his mentee Huang Zheng to lunch. Now Duan’s smartphone empire sells better than Apple’s iPhone in China. Meanwhile, Huang’s shopping app Pinduoduo went public on the Nasdaq in July 2018.
早在2006年，中国商人段永平就赢得了竞标，并带他的徒弟黄峥共进午餐。现在段先生的智能手机帝国在中国的销量已经超过了苹果的iPhone。与此同时，黄峥的购物应用软件拼多多于2018年7月在纳斯达克上市。

被称为“中国私募基金教父”的证券投资者赵丹阳于2008年以211.1万美元拍下午餐。他后来提到午餐的收获：“我在中国没有经历过很多经济周期，向巴菲特问一些关键的问题后，就不需要等到下一轮周期来确认这个事，这个太值了。”
而天神娱乐的董事长朱晔在2015年以235万美金拍得午餐。在午餐后虽有不错的受益（天神娱乐股价上涨），但他本人却在18年5月因涉嫌违反证券法律法规，遭到证监会的立案调查。
But not all of Buffett’s lunch guests have found unfettered success. Zhu Ye, chairman of Beijing-based online gaming firm Zeus Entertainment, paid $2.35 million for the lunch opportunity in 2015 and said it was “absolutely worth it”. However, Zhu has been investigated by the China Securities Regulatory Commission for alleged violations of securities laws since last May.
但并非所有巴菲特的午餐客人都找到了无拘无束的成功。2015年，总部位于北京的网络游戏公司，天神娱乐的董事长朱晔花了235万美元买下了这一午餐机会，并表示“绝对值得”。然而，自去年5月以来，朱因涉嫌违反证券法而受到中国证监会的调查。

至今，巴菲特的慈善午餐共为Glide基金会募得了20笔拍卖金，逾三千多万美金，用于保护穷人、无家可归的人和弱势群体。
