The Lugden Hill Scholarship

The Lugden Hill Scholarship supports a student on the MSc in Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement offered by the School of Biological Sciences.

The School of Biological Sciences at UEA is a vibrant community, boasting state-of-art research facilities as well as modern teaching laboratories and is firmly embedded in the internationally renowned Norwich Research Park.

Our world-leading research covers the full spectrum of biology, from biomedicine and developmental biology to microbiology, biochemistry, evolutionary biology, ecology and conservation. In the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014) we achieved major gains in the rankings of all our research areas. 80% of our research output and 100% of our research environment and research impact was judged to be world-leading or internationally excellent.

The Lugden Hill Scholarship is worth £8,500, available as a tuition fee discount or as a maintenance grant.

How to Apply

Scholarship applications for 2020 entry are now open. The deadline is 12 noon on 28 August 2020.
