Tyrant Teacher Forces Students To Kneel And Beats Them
Photos have been going viral on Weibo of a middle school teacher in Sichuan forcing his students to kneel down while he whipped them with an extension cable. Looks like he got a little fed up with his lazy students and decided to try and "beat some knowledge into them". Unsurprisingly the school quickly fired him when they found out, but many are calling on authorities to give him a harsher punishment for the abuse he's dished out to these kids.
Apparantly the teacher, surnamed Zhou, had given the class homework to learn part of their history class off by heart. The next day seven of the students weren't able to recite the homework so he decided to punish them, making them stand up for the rest of the lesson. After class he took them outside and made them kneel one by one while he hit them with the extension cable making the others watch.
Oddly enough some of the students approved of his methods, telling reporters the tyrant teacher would also reward good behaviour and was often nice to them. Other times he would punish them and force them to feel guilty for any wrong doings or laziness. One student remarked that the teacher would never give up on them, even when the students themselves had given up on studying.
Tongjiang Middle School released a statement saying they would be sacking and leading an investigation into the teacher involved.
