纪念汶川地震13周年，缅怀逝者，勇毅前行！

2008年5月12日，四川汶川发生里氏8.0级特大地震，共造成近7万人遇难，约1.8万人失踪，37万余人受伤。在危难时刻，我们见证了受灾人民的坚强应对，以及众志成城的中国力量。

This video clip is once again stirring the emotions of Chinese netizens, as the country commemorates the 13th anniversary of the devastating catastrophe that killed nearly 70,000 people.

当年从废墟中被救出的孩子战胜了困难，实现了他们的梦想并为社会贡献自己的力量。他们参与抗疫，加入军队和消防队伍，在学业和事业上取得成就……他们在灾难中创造了奇迹和希望。

十三年后的汶川，一座新的城市从废墟上重建。基础设施的建设和经济的重建帮助居民的生活逐步恢复正常。

Thirteen years on, survivors in the quake-stricken areas have rebuilt their life from the ruins. The infrastructure construction and the economy rebuilding have provided the residents with opportunities to thrive. Those who were teenagers in 2008 are now reaching their peak potential, pursuing further studies in universities and starting their careers. The tough spirit of the people is truly admirable.
