JISE2019: The Principals Bringing Innovative Education to BJ
We give you all the essentials in Beijing, from events to news to community connections.
What are the innovative programs being initiated in Beijing’s international schools? Who are the educators implementing these programs? And, most importantly, what do these educators have to say about the progress of these programs beyond the expected claims of innovation gift wrapped in marketing jargon?
At the Jingkids International School Expo (JISE) 2019, we are bringing together the principals of Dulwich College Beijing (DCB), International School of Beijing (ISB), and Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) to talk about their innovative programs, along with the successes and the apparent challenges they face in their implementation and development.
This lecture happening on Saturday, February 23 in Kerry Hotel’s Kowloon Room (2-4pm), will be the first time that these important figures share a stage, explaining to parents their innovative programs along with the cold hard facts supporting these important movements in education.
As JISE moves beyond school choice, we hope for parents to do the same. Here, innovative education techniques will be presented to parents, along with the reasons as to why these advances are more than just a fad, and quite possibly the only thing that stands between your child and being adequately equipped for a future filled with uncertainties. After all, real innovation in a school’s curricula needs to have the backing of not only the principles or the faculty but also the parents.
