Didi’s Hidden Gem: How to Use Children Ride Service

According to Didi Chuxing, they have announced that on November 6 they will be reintroducing the Hitch Service. The company has spent more than a year updating the service since it’s cancellation. They have implemented many new rules including a restriction for female users who can only use the service between 5am to 8pm.

While researching this topic, we have discovered a hidden gem for families with young children. The ride option is called 宝贝专车, roughly translating to “children’s car”. Here are the basic steps you need to use this service.

Please note that this option is only available by changing the language to Chinese.

When you change your Didi language option to Chinese, swipe the ride options all the way to the left until you find 关爱出行 （caring ride service) and select it.

Select 宝贝专车（children’s car）for a car that comes equipped with a baby car seat. You will also have an option to choose your desired pick-up time by selecting 用车时间 （time to use). Add your pick up and drop off location.

If you want to add your contact information, select 选乘车人（contact info) and enter your phone number (手机号) and your name (姓名). Then click the black button to order your children’s ride!
