Outdoor Classes for Kids by Atelier
Atelier’s creative team has come up with a new series of stimulating outdoor classes and workshops, that are all about creativity and culture. The classes are on a variety of different topics and are open to kids, teenagers, and adults. Prices inclusive of sketching supplies and participants’ tickets. In addition to hosting their own classes, Atelier has also teamed with Culture Yard to provide two sculpture workshops. This first workshop will allow participants to explore monumental monochromatic sculptures and discover the work of American sculptor Louise Nevelson (1899-1988). Headed by Atelier’s art teacher James, these workshops are part of their new “Atelier hors les murs” series. Atelier will be teaching in collaboration with other spaces in and around Beijing in the coming months, so watch the Events tabs as we add them in. RMB 500, 2-4.30 pm. Sunshine Studios’ dance school has finally been able to begin classes in Chaoyang District! A shorter summer term began on Jun 1, but it’s not too late to sign up now. Beginner and intermediate students take place every Monday as usual, and Shunyi classes return dates will be announced soon.
