DIY Beihai Park Scavenger Hunt
Bespoke Beijing has designed an awesome DIY scavenger hunt activity that takes place all around one of Beijing’s most iconic landmarks: Beihai Park! This activity can actually be done at any time at all, but we think it’s the perfect fun weekend activity. Matte Finish Gouache Workshop for 9+ Year Old Kids (Online Facility Available)
Ever heard of gouache painting? A form of water media, like watercolor, it is often an important supplementary medium to other better-known techniques. Artists have used the medium to create historically important, visually arresting, totally dynamic works of art for years, and now Atelier is hosting online and in-person classes for kids 9-years-old and above to learn about this unique painting form, in a workshop that will teach participants how to draw stills, city landscapes, minimalist posters, and character illustrations. Huanghuacheng Lakeside to Huanghuacheng Wild Great Wall Hike
Situated 65 kilometers away from downtown Beijing in Jiuduhe Town, Huairou District, the Huanghuacheng Great Wall boasts some beautiful natural scenery characterized by lush vegetation, mountains, and the Haoming Lake. Take a day hike up there with the local guide, starting from the Huanghuacheng reservoir and end at the top of the wall. Kids approximately 10 and older will be okay with this hike.
