Giuseppe De Stefano has been a pillar of Beijing’s culinary and Italian communities for many years as the chef of La Pizza. Sadly, he’s been hospitalized since Jun 27 and is in critical condition. His medical bills are racking up quickly and his friends are reaching out on his behalf to help cover the cost. The doctors have estimated the cost of his treatment to be around RMB 730,000.

On Thursday, Jul 15 restaurants all over Beijing are joining together for one united fundraising evening called Together For Giuseppe. Each restaurant is donating a table that evening and the proceeds from that table will be used to help cover Giuseppe’s recovery costs. As part of the fundraising initiative, the Sweet Cravings Lucky Draw is back with 63 prizes to tickle and tantalize your taste buds. Founded by  Camilla Kongshavn Jovanovic, the group shares the best info on desserts in Beijing, and when the community is in need, Sweet Cravings Beijing rallies and helps raise money to assist members of the community.

Get your lucky draw ticket now and you could win decadent dinners and wine pairing for four at TRB, dinner and drinks for four at Las Musas, brunches and afternoon teas for two at Nuo Hotel and Intercontinental Sanlitun, or a luxury staycation for two at Hotel Jen by Shangri-La.

There are restaurant vouchers, workout classes, bottles of tequila, mezcal and wine, health supplements and more to be won, not to mention all the desserts and treats from the awesome vendors at the Sweet Cravings Dessert Network.
