In response to the earthquake which struck areas of Turkey and Syria on Monday, the Beijinger is joining forces with Georgia's and Turkish Feast to host two massive relief banquets to raise funds for those affected.
The dinners -- the first on Monday at Georgia's Feast and the second on Wednesday at Turkish Feast, will be a merry affair. Expect classics like mezze, kebabs, and pide at Turkish Feast and khachapuri, khinkali, and all sorts of mains at Georgia's Feast, all spread out across one big family-style table at each event.
Feast for a good cause this coming Monday and Wednesday
Beer sponsored by Grimbergen and their team as well as quality Georgian wines will be served at each dinner, the perfect pairing with the hearty dishes to be served.
100 percent of the proceeds go towards supplies that will be sent out on a Turkish Airlines plane from Guangzhou next Thursday. Supplies to be sent include tents, jackets, gloves, and other supplies.
Each dinner will have 20 seats available, with seats valued at RMB 800 per person. All proceeds from the dinners will go towards providing aid and supplies for those in need. Turkish Airlines will be sending out a plane with supplies from Guangzhou next Thursday.
