Crazy Chongqing interchange boggles the minds of netizens
Chongqing has recently finished work on a mind-boggling interchange outside the city which has left netizens across China dumbfounded.
The highway interchange consists of 15 lanes going up 5 levels and extending out 8 directions, earning it the title of the city's "most complicated intersection." Online, web users worriedabout driving into the M.C. Escher mess and never figuring out how to get out.
"Car GPS: 'I can only take you this far, the rest is up to you,'" commented one Weibo user.
"Car GPS: 'Who am I? Where am I?'" wrote another netizen.
"Who says that this saves time? If you take the wrong ramp you'll be taking a day-long vacation," argued another.
For something a bit less hectic, Chongqing residents can always hop on the metro instead and ride it all the way to China's loneliest subway station.
