Naked guy spotted taking a ride on Hong Kong's MTR

One guy caused quite the stir on the Hong Kong MTR on Wednesday night after being spotted waiting for a train during evening rush hour without a stitch of clothing on.

Photos of the naked young man, dressed only in a pair of crocs, have gone viral online. During his carefree commute, the man actually managed to change trains and make it six stops before being apprehended by metro authorities.

He was first seen at a Tsim Sha Tsui ATM, presumably withdrawing funds for the journey ahead. Carrying a mobile phone and wallet, he then queued up in a long line for a train heading to Hong Kong Island.

Following reports from fellow commuters, the man was tracked by MTR employees who finally arrested him at North Point station when he attempted to leave. He was immediately taken to a hospital for evaluation. Authorities suspect that the man is likely mentally ill. To explain his lack of clothing, he was overheard telling a security guard that he was actually living in his own video game world.

Of course, the heat can make us all do crazy things. On the day that this guy took his stripped down ride on the Hong Kong subway, the city recorded its highest temperatures of the year.
