Hideous turtle-shaped building spotted beside Hebei lake

A scenic spot in northern Hebei province has finally put itself on the map with what just might be the world's largest building shaped like a turtle.

The so-called "Golden Turtle Pavillion" is located at Baiyang Lake, near to the much-hyped Xiong'an New Area. At 68 meters long, 46 meters wide and 18 meters high, its size is only rivaled by its stunning beauty.

Unfortunately, the pavilion itself isn't actually open yet, but obviously, it's still worth the trip to simply wander around and admire the grandeur and magnificence of this modern marvel.
