62-year-old master will clean your eyes with a sharp blade

Are your eyes feeling a bit gunky lately? Well, head on down to Xiong Gaowu's alley-side stall in Chengdu for a thorough eye cleaning via sharp blade.

The 62-year-old master uses an apparently "ancient technique" to clean up all the filth from his customer's eyes that are purportedly clouding their vision. Photos of Xiong at work show that he pays at least some attention to the cleanliness of the blade before he uses it to scrape the inside of people's eyelids.

While this procedure may appear terrifying, Xiong claims that he has never injured anyone in four decades of business. He also says that his treatment helps people to see better, though only if they are 30 years old or older. Apparently, those of us under 30 don't have any bad stuff in our eyes.
