Two of the best bars in Paris are popping up in Shanghai!
Catch the world's top bartending talents in Shanghai as The Portman Ritz-Carlton's Movers & Shakers series returns for this year. Throughout March, two of the best bars in Paris - Les Grands Verres and Little Red Door - will pop up at the Ritz Bar & Lounge for a week each.

Les Grands Verres
First is Les Grands Verres from Monday, March 19 to Saturday, March 24. Headed by partners Josh Fontaine, Carina Soto, and Adam Tsou, the restaurant bar in Palais de Tokyo boasts a 13-meter bar counter made from compacted earth, while operations are geared towards reducing bottle and packaging waste. The bar grows its own edible flowers, composts on-site, and recycles almost all its waste. It also cares for 40,000 bees. For their pop up, Fontaine and Soto will be serving eight concoctions, each reflecting their venue’s commitment to sustainable practices behind the stick.

Next is Little Red Door from Tuesday, March 27 to Saturday, March 31 with Rory Shepherd, the leading bartender at the Parisian bar (rated number 11 in the 2017 World’s Best 50 Bars and Best Bar in Paris). Draw back the curtain at The Library in The Ritz Bar & Lounge and sink into the world of Little Red Door as the real Paris unfolds through Shepherd's Architectural Concept. Through six drinks, he tells lesser-known tales that are overlooked by the grandeur and elegance of the city, and takes cocktail connoisseurs on an intimate journey throughout the the French capital.
