This afternoon a man allegedly jumped to his death inside of Shanghai’s IAPM Mall, landing on two women and seriously injuring one.

A short, graphic video clip is currently making the rounds on WeChat showing a man lying motionless on the floor of the shopping mall with a pool of blood near his head. Beside him is a woman lying on the ground, moving slightly.

At the end of the clip, mall workers walk over and place a tent over the man.

According to Eastday.com, the man died at the scene after landing on the two women, one of whom was seriously injured in the collision.

Further details about the incident are not known at this time, but a number of Chinese netizens have criticized the man for deciding to take his own life in such a dangerous way to others.

“If you decide to kill yourself that is your own choice, please don’t take anyone else with you,” writes one Weibo user.
