A cab driver has lost his taxi license after he was spotted cruising down the road while his daughter did her homework on the roof his vehicle.

Shocking video footage shot from the vehicle driving behind the taxi on a road in Shangqiu, Henan province shows the little girl leaning halfway out of the window while using the taxi’s ceiling as a writing desk. It takes more than 30 seconds for the taxi to start pulling over to the side of the road.

The driver claims that he didn’t notice that his daughter had climbed halfway out of the window because he was busy chatting with a friend who was sitting in the passenger seat.

He says that once he did see what his daughter was doing through the rear-view mirror, he immediately pulled over, stopped his car, and smacked her to teach her a lesson.

Somehow, this explanation failed to sway his employer, which took his license away and transferred him over to another position within the company.

Over in Sichuan province, another taxi driver recently lost his license as well after pulling down a female passenger’s top to take a look at her chest while she was hunting for money to pay the cab fare.
