Pig bites off man's testicle as he peeks at her piglets
An elderly man from the Jiangsu city of Yizheng is now down one testicle after getting a bit too close to a mama pig and her kids.
After hearing that his wife’s pig was giving birth, the 75-year-old man, surnamed Li, had rushed out to see for himself, stepping into the pigsty to take a closer look at the newborn piglets, according to a Knews report. Evidently, however, the sow did not take kindly to this intrusion. When he got too close to her babies, she attacked, biting him right in the groin.
The man was quickly rushed to the hospital where doctors found his scrotum torn apart. During surgery, they were forced to remove what was left of his left testicle while managing to save his right one. Because a pig’s mouth contains a host of bacteria, he will have to remain at the hospital for some time while receiving anti-infective treatment.
