Taking place at The St. Regis hotel in town on November 5, the inaugural TastyTrip Gastronomic Forum 2018 aims to explore global trends and how to turn challenges into opportunities in Asia’s culinary industry.


11月5日就在静安瑞吉酒店,首届TastyTrip Gastronomic Forum 2018旨在共同探讨全球餐饮趋势及如何将之应用到本地,并把在亚洲精致餐饮市场所面临的挑战转换为成功机会。

“The latest global gourmet trend is about environmental sustainability,” said TastyTrip managing director Jocelyn Chen. “But in Asia, including China, the development of fine dining is a little bit behind. We expect to impart the experience that foreign chefs have to rising stars and give them some useful advice. Also, we aim to promote local cuisine in China at all levels.”


“最新的全球餐饮趋势是环保可持续发展,” TastyTrip创始人Jocelyn Chen说道,”但是在亚洲,包括中国,精致餐饮的发展还有些落后。我们希望能将外国厨师的经验传授给国内冉冉升起的新兴厨师们,给他们一些有用的建议。此外,我们希望在中国推广当地菜系。”

A number of high profile chefs are expected at the forum, including Andre Chiang, who was twice named by Time magazine for creating the “greatest food in the Indian Ocean region” and selected as one of the 150 Master Chefs of the World, as well as Stefan Stiller, chef and founder of Taian Table, Riccardo La Perna, executive chef of 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo Bombana Shanghai, Michael Wilson, executive chef of Phénix eatery & bar, and executive chefs of Bo Shanghai DeAille Tam and Simon Wong.

Food personalities will also be present, such as Howard Cai, founder of Howard’s Gourmet; Crystyl Mo, Academy Chair for China and Korea at The World’s 50 Best Restaurants; former managing director of Michelin Guide China Bob Miao; and co-founder of Mapo TV Norman Wong.


此外还会有餐饮界大咖莅临,例如Howard’s Gourmet蔡昊Howard Cai,中韩两国世界 50 家最佳 餐厅协会主席Crystyl Mo,中国米其林指南前董事总经理Bob Miao,以及Mapo TV联合创始人Norman Wong。

Topics covered include how China’s fine dining landscape can be recognized on the global stage, the impact of Michelin stars, the spirit and heritage of Asia’s cuisine, why videos are important marketing tools for restaurants, the speakers’ own experiences, and more.
