A horrific video has been making the rounds on WeChat recently showing a 13-year-old boy being killed after sticking his body out of the sunroof of a vehicle on a Chinese highway.


The clip was shot by a passenger in a car behind the boy’s vehicle who started to film after noticing the kid standing with half of his body through the sunroof on the mostly-empty expressway near Jiangxi’s Xinyu city on Sunday.


Inside the trailing car, the driver and passenger laugh and joke about the boy being killed by the low clearance sign coming up, however, they are completely stunned when the kid really doesn’t retreat back into the vehicle and the sign collides with his head.


According to local media reports, the boy was indeed killed by the collision. It’s not clear why he didn’t get back down into the car or why his parents didn’t make him do so. Viewer discretion is advised:
