When Tanglang Mountain is mentioned, what immediately comes to your mind?

Most likely, the vibrant "Ma Lau" (monkeys) that have become internet sensations!

Along the winding mountain paths of Tanglang Mountain Country Park, if you spot a gathering ahead, you will find the "Ma Lau" (monkeys) are open for business and ready to charm.





But beyond the adorable monkeys, do you know what else Tanglang Mountain has to offer?

The answer lies in


Nestled in the southern part of Tanglang Mountain, this trail is the latest addition to a network of scenic hiking paths. Its name, Qingsong, echoes the Chinese words for "green pine" and "relaxation", symbolizing a haven for the stressed residents of Shenzhen. Stretching approximately 3.7 km, this trail leads you through lush pine forests, where the air carries a delicate scent of pine needles.

Tanglang Mountain's hiking and countryside trails seamlessly intertwine, offering a dynamic range of scenery that captures nearly half of Shenzhen. From the panoramic views of China's Hong Kong and Shenzhen Bay to the picturesque Pearl River Estuary, this landscape unveils the unique meeting point of mountains and sea in the heart of Shenzhen. The main hiking trail spans 8.34 kilometers, complemented by a 19.13-kilometer countryside trail. Thanks to convenient access via metro and buses, these trails stand out as the go-to choice for local residents.


The Qingsong Trail, part of the seventh section of the Kunpeng Trail, provides a descent route with a relatively easy difficulty level in the first half. As you stroll along, surrounded by dense Masson pine and bayberry trees, it's easy to forget that you're just a few kilometers from the bustling city. This is your chance to immerse yourself in nature, discovering hidden pockets where local wildlife thrives.




Embark on a trail flanked by engaging natural information boards and whimsical relaxation installations.

This ecological journey seamlessly incorporates elements of nature education, making it an ideal outing for parents and their children to discover the marvels and mysteries of the great outdoors.



As you traverse the path, encounter blessing plaques, small wooden sticks propped in ancient stone crevices, and stone pillars, each holding onto beautiful aspirations.

The Qingsong Trail winds its way through the picturesque Yicui Pavilion and reaches its culmination at the Meiyu Pavilion, where diverse species and stunning landscapes await.

The Yicui Pavilion serves as an exceptional viewpoint, offering a fresh perspective to explore the enchanting forest.



The image depicts a challenging yet rewarding ascent along steep and lengthy stone steps, an integral route leading to the Meiyu Pavilion.

The Meiyu Pavilion, a three-tiered structure, rewards climbers with panoramic views of Shenzhen. To the west, the cityscape unfolds seamlessly, while to the north, misty mountains create a captivating scene that unfolds beneath your gaze.

Be prepared for an increased level of difficulty in the latter part of the Qingsong Trail, making it suitable for citizens with some hiking experience.
