IBM总公司在纽约州阿蒙克市。1924年托马斯·沃森创立于美国，是全球最大的信息技术和业务解决方案公司，拥有全球雇员 30多万人，业务遍及160多个国家和地区。
在香港这个大环境下，薪资待遇很有竞争力。一般分为三轮面试，第一轮为群面，主要考察沟通能力；第二轮是HR单独面试，主要问的是一些基本的IT概念；第三轮是Manager面试，会提问比较专业性的问题，也会根据你之前的回答，以及简历上的内容提问。
1-Year Placement Student - Application Development and Support (GBS)
Under the guidance of team leaders and project managers in IBM Global Business Services (GBS), our placement students are required to perform application development and support including but not limited to the following tasks:
1. Application programming based on design specifications.
2. Application test execution based on test cases.
3. Application support, incident support, problem diagnosis, program bug fixing and re-test.
4. Work on Java, JSP, HTML or .NET application coding, application testing and products set up/configuration for projects with various external customers.
5. Project management office administration tasks such as tracking and reporting of project status and action items, workplace and on/off board logistics, etc.
1. Second year or penultimate year student in any local university of Hong Kong.
2. Under the 1-year Placement Student program, student is required to complete the whole 12-month program period as committed between the university and IBM.
3. Possesses adequate knowledge and concepts in application programming.
4. Student who studies Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent degree courses is preferred.
5. With passion in the IT consulting career.
6. Self-confident communication and presentation skills with strong business sense.
7. Possesses an excellent command of written & spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin will be an advantage.
