Associate, Equity Derivatives Trading - Markets
1. Effectively maintains various risk positions and manages within position limits, providing liquidity and trade ideas to clients while trading within set limits to help the trading team achieve a given revenue target.
2. Ensures correct ticket entry and order routing, maintains communication with sales desk and assists in resolving any settlement problems, ensures ticket entry completion and provides general trading activity support, as necessary.
3. Provides consistent pricing and market making to sales force and target clients.
4. Monitors all daily electronic trading activity and determines where certain trades should be routed for execution, reviews all activity for accuracy of account information.
5. Executes firm and customers' trades in accordance with desk Volcker designation and may contribute to the formulation of trading strategies.
6. Reconciles daily and monthly reports, as assigned.
1. Extensive work experience in Global Markets trading desk.
2. Strong risk management skills.
3. In depth knowledge about risk hedging.
4. Excellent quantitative background.
5. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and project management skills.
6. Degree holder, preferably with a professional qualification.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work effectively with senior business management across business lines and geographies.
