CIB Market Risk Reporting - Associate
1. Understand key risk measures (such as Greeks and PVBP) and risk metrics (such as VaR and Stress Testing) and explain material risk moves
2. Understand underlying market conditions and its impact to the risk
3. Monitor Emerging markets and/or Commodities trading limits, maintain limit framework and escalate limit breach to risk managers
4. Supporting the production of weekly stress results for the Investment Bank
5. Provide timely, accurate and meaningful risk information to risk managers by maintaining data quality in the reporting system and utilize system tools to control accuracy of report results
6. Produce and distribute daily/weekly/monthly risk reports to the trading desks, risk managers, and senior management
7. Provide support to risk managers for ad hoc analysis/projects such as implement new methodology, capturing missing risks and improve risk reports
8. Develop working relationships with the internal Finance, Middle Office, Market Risk Technology, and Market Risk Coverage teams
9. Provide support to other team members in producing daily, weekly, and monthly risk reports
1. At least 2 years experience in the financial industry preferred.
2. High Proficiency using Microsoft products including Excel, Access and VBA
3. Ability to work and solve problems independently, and be able to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment
4. Attention to detail, strong organization and processing skills
5. Good written and verbal communication skills
6. Ability to improve current processes and achieve efficiencies
7. Team player who can work well with colleagues of various levels
8. Self-motivated, and comfortable working with large amounts of data
9. Knowledge of market risk metrics and financial products a plus
10. BA/BS degree required
