Alarice International (www.alarice.com.hk) is a Hong Kong based marketing agency focusing on Chinese social media. Our subsidiary ChoZan (www.chozan.co) is a membership platform for marketers with all the knowledge and tools they need for their China-focused campaigns. Our whole team is passionate about marketing and China, while our founder, Ashley is running a popular vlog with thousands of subscribers, called AshleyTalks (www.ashleytalks.com).

We are a small and energetic company, run by young and passionate creatives and supported by awesome working culture. Due to expansion, we are looking for an outstanding Social Media Assistant to join our amazing team! 

Social Media Assistant

Job Description

1. Content Creation: Developing content for Alarice including social media tweets, web articles, press releases, video blogs, etc.

2. Social Media Management: Maintaining daily activities and posts on Weibo, WeChat, etc.

3. Blogging: Maintaining professional English blogs and articles about Chinese social media for ChoZan, including case studies, hot trends, latest news, etc.

4. Social Media Analysis: Commencing research and communicating marketing analytics, keeping a close eye on news, trends and cases on Chinese social media.

5. Other: Duties may also include developing proposals and press releases, liaising with journalists, launching SEM advertisings, recording video blogs, doing simple designs and layouts, etc.

Requirements

1. Personal Profile: Creative, energetic, passionate and self-driven. Must be active on and familiar with Chinese social media (WeChat, Weibo, etc).

2. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written Mandarin Chinese and English, ability to write professionally for varied audiences.

3. Past Experience: Prior Journalism/ Blogging/ Social Media experience is a big plus. Outstanding fresh graduates are also considered.

4. Education & Skills: Degree holder in Journalism, Advertising or Marketing is preferred. Having a sense for design and being proficient in Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign and/or video-shooting is a big advantage.

5. Other: HKID holder or valid HK work permit. Immediately available is preferred.
