Investment Banking Summer Internship Program

An internship with Lazard’s Financial Advisory group in Hong Kong is designed to provide insight into the day-to-day role of Investment Banking. Lazard seeks internship candidates who demonstrate excellent analytical skills, have strong motivation and a genuine interest in Investment Banking. Investment Banking Interns support Lazard’s Asia-Pacific team on marketing and deal execution assignments.

Role and Responsibilities

Your primary role is to support transaction teams by performing research and financial analysis, as well as ad-hoc requests for marketing and transaction-related purposes. Lazard’s unique structure provides Investment Banking Interns with exposure to all elements of the deal process, encouraging a sense of ownership and responsibility from day one.

Qualifications and Skills

- Available to work fulltime from 6 June 2022 to 2 September 2022.

- Prior work experience in Investment Banking, particularly in Mergers and Acquisitions is preferred, but not essential

- Self-motivated and able to work in a highly dynamic environment

In the 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate studies or pursuing a postgraduate degree

- Excellent communication skills

- Proficient in written and verbal Mandarin and English – technical testing might be conducted during the interview process

- Experience and exposure to an international working or academic environment is valued

- Background in accounting, finance, or economics is preferred but not essential

- Excellent academic performance

- Hold valid visa to work in Hong Kong
