TRAINEE: Market Risk, Data Science Analyst

职位描述：
RISK DATA ANALYTICS
- Take ownership to research and propose simple pattern detection methods identifying client risk activity signals using historical and/or intraday client’s trading / exposure activities
- Implement through code the proposed models into proofs-of-concepts. Model training, results analysis and back-testing
- Formalize methodologies to explain models and results to internal parties
DEVELOP DASHBOARDS & VISUALIZATIONS
- Develop internal visualization dashboards using modern data analytics tools in a time-sensitive environment by linking datasets across a wide range of products
- Assist the team through preparation of presentations, management views
- Be an active member of internal working groups
- Take ownership for assigned projects and interact with IT globally (Bangalore, Paris, New York…)
DATA QUALITY
- Research and propose statistical outlier detection methods to identify potential data quality issues across a range of business use cases
- Implement through code the proposed models into proofs-of-concepts
- Formalize methodologies to explain models and results to internal parties
职位要求：
- Bachelor’s degree in in any subject, preferably Quantitative Finance, Finance, IT
- Demonstrable interest in finance, markets
- IT literate and can demonstrate examples of data visualization/automation (i.e., with Python, VBA, Tableau)
- Good interpersonal skills and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to be able to work independently
- Good analytical skills and an aptitude for numbers with attention to detail
- Fluent English is mandatory
This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.
