Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus. 圣诞节是为了纪念耶稣的诞生而立的节日。Most people celebrate Christmas on Christmas Day圣诞节（12月25日).大多数人在圣诞节25日庆祝圣诞。In China, the craziness happens on Christmas Eve圣诞夜 (12月24日). 在中国，圣诞夜的庆祝活动更多。

About The Custom

We all know that Christmas is a western festival, Which was born in different countries and their customs are different. It is several major western customs.我们都知道圣诞节是西方的节日，诞生对于不同的国家，他们的习俗又有所不同。Britain think Christmas must eat a great time. So Christmas dinner is extremely rich, including roast Turkey, Christmas pudding, Christmas break hamburger and so on. 英国人认为圣诞节必须吃得痛快，所以圣诞大餐极为丰富，包括烤火鸡、圣诞布丁、圣诞碎肉饼等。American always hang the wreath and beautiful decorations. 美国人则大部分室内都有别致的布置，门外悬挂着美艳的花环及绮丽的饰物。

About The Party

When it gets closer to Christmas, many people will go home, so you need to hold parties earlier. 临近圣诞，大家都要回家过节，所以要提前办，方便大家参与。Christmas parties usually take place in early mid December. 圣诞派对一般都在12月中上旬，这里的“提前”表达为Hold the party earlier而不是in advance. In advance通产用在预定机票这样的搭配里，而不是办派对。 Book your tickets in advance. With any party or event invitation, you usually need to RSVP. 派对、活动邀约，通常都需要RSVP , Please respond的意思，即确认出席。在邀请函上，你通常会看到 Please kindly RSVP by ...date. 请在某某日期前，确认出席。

Many parties and events will have a dress code. 出席的许多派对是有着装要求的。总体可分为：1) Casual: （休闲的）2) Formal（正式的）ladies can choose LBD (little black dress小黑裙，经典不出错)or LRD (little red dress小红裙) for their party dresses . 挑选圣诞派对着装时，也可以融入各种圣诞颜色（Christmas colors） You doesn't have to be red and green. You can choose what you look good in or balance it out with some white . 不一定要红配绿一起穿选一个你穿着好看的颜色可以用白色缓和一下。Many people choose the ugly Christmas sweater for their dress code。The ugly Christmas sweaters （很丑的圣诞毛衣）look like a Christmas card. 这种毛衣看上去就像一张圣诞卡which have lots of Christmas elements 集合了各种圣诞元素and look like very busy看起开非常热闹。The point is to be ugly and funny.重点就是要难看、要搞笑The uglier, the better.

这里你一定要知道两个圣诞送礼游戏：1) Secret Santa（神秘圣诞老人）2) white elephant（白色大象） Draw a name, buy them a gift, you're their secret Santa. 预先抽一个同事或朋友的名字，你要给他／她买礼物，你是他们的神秘圣诞老人。然后思考一下：What are they like? 他／她是什么样的人？What will they like? 会喜欢什么东西？The person receiving the gift need to guess who their secret Santa is. 收到礼物的人要猜礼物是谁买的But you can also keep it a secret.但是也可以保守秘密。

About The Greeting
