Join us for the first in-person event since the start of the pandemic and catch up with the BEN community. This event will focus on China’s announcement to plateau carbon emissions before 2030 and reach carbon neutrality by 2060. Our expert panel will discuss what this ambitious goal means and what it will take to achieve it. As we aim to make the event interactive, there will be ample time to ask questions during the Q&A session.

The Beijing Energy Network (BEN) is a professional network with a mission of promoting knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration in understanding and tackling China’s energy and environmental challenges.
The flagship activities of BEN are the Beijing Energy & Environmental Roundtable (BEER), an approximately twice-monthly happy hour/speaker series, BEN Reading Group, which is held once a month to discuss reports, share insights, and ask questions, and Environment China, a bilingual podcast featuring conversations with advocates, entrepreneurs, and experts working in the environmental field in China.
BEN events are free or low cost and open to all with no RSVP necessary. Please note, we ask that our speaker's remarks remain off the record unless they otherwise grant permission.
