一、活动名称
“我眼中的中国”在华留学生短视频大赛
二、活动目的
为促进在华留学生了解中国国情、中国文化和民众生活，培养留学生新媒体传播的创新、创意和创业能力，特举办“我眼中的中国”——在华留学生视频大赛。本大赛旨在鼓励留学生通过亲身体验，现场观察，以第一人称的独特视角，客观真实表现“我眼中的中国”。在表达留学生的真情实感和有趣发现的同时，向世界展示中国真实的国情、文化和社会生活，以提高留学生跨文化传播能力，提升中外文化交流水平，搭建中外青年学生交流的桥梁。

比赛组委会
由主办、承办单位联合成立比赛组织委员会（以下简称组委会），负责比赛重大事项的决策，审定活动程序及奖项颁发细则。
四、参赛对象
具有外国国籍、并正在中国高校就读的全体留学生
五、内容与形式
比赛使用语言
使用留学生本国母语或英语录制视频，并需配备中文或英语字幕。
比赛内容
留学生使用母语录制不超过5分钟的短视频，内容是讲述本人眼中的中国以及来华求学的所见所闻，并需配备中文字幕，视频具体呈现形式不限，演讲访谈、剧情短片、才艺展示或其他形式皆可。留学生既可组成团体参赛，也可个人报名参赛。
比赛形式
参赛团体或选手将作品上传到组委会指定地址，经过专家评审决出各类奖项。
六、比赛活动安排
新闻发布会（2018年12月19日）
参赛团体或个人将其拍摄的视频作品在规定时间内上传到组委会指定地址。参赛视频应当围绕“我眼中的中国”这一主题，构思巧妙，创意新颖，具有一定的审美价值和艺术价值，视频应用留学生母语或英语录制，时间为1-5分钟，且需配备中文或英文字幕。
作品投稿（2019年1月1日至4月15日）
留学生使用母语录制不超过5分钟的短视频，内容是讲述本人眼中的中国以及来华求学的所见所闻，并需配备中文字幕，视频具体呈现形式不限，演讲访谈、剧情短片、才艺展示或其他形式皆可。留学生既可组成团体参赛，也可个人报名参赛。

作品规格：
作品提交格式为H.264编码，码流不低于8M，MP4格式,帧尺寸不低于1920*1080。
专家评审（4月16日至4月30日）
邀请专家在对所有投稿作品进行评审，之后向组委会推荐各项获奖作品。
结果公示和颁奖典礼（5月11日）
组委会在大赛网站和主办、承办单位的网站上公布最终比赛结果，并对获奖个人或进行表彰。

特等奖1名，奖金30000元
一等奖2名，奖金各15000元
二等奖3名，奖金各10000元
三等奖15名，奖金各4000元
八、比赛评审
组委会将会邀请在视频制作、留学事务、文化交流、对外传播等领域知名度较高的专家组成评审委员会，担任评审工作。

· To enhance international students’ knowledge of Chinese culture and society;
· To present China's culture and standing to the world from an objective and authentic perspective;

Contest Organizing Committee
The Organizing Committee of the contest will be jointly set up by the host and the organizer to handle key decision-making and work out detailed procedures and rules of the contest.
IV. Participants
Students with foreign nationality currently enrolled in universities in Mainland China are eligible to participate in this video contest.
V. Contest Details
Language Requirements
Videos are required to be produced in the contestant’s native language or in English with Chinese or English subtitles.
Video Requirements
Contestants will produce a short video, within 5 minutes, in their native language or in English with Chinese or English subtitles based on the "China Through My Eyes" theme and their personal experiences in China. The video can include speeches, interviews, stories, talent shows, or any other content the contestant wishes to present.
Contestants can apply to this competition as individuals or in teams.
How to Participate
Contestants will submit their videos to the website designated by the Organizing Committee. Winners will be selected by an expert-based Review Committee.
VI. Contest Timeline
Press Conference: December 19, 2018Contest Committee will invite guests and media representatives to witness the launching of the contest and announce contest information to the public through various media channels
Video Submission: January 1-April 15, 2019Contestants will submit their videos to the website designated by the Organizing Committee. Videos should be 1-5 minutes long in the contestant’s native language or in English with Chinese or English subtitles, focusing on the "China Through My Eyes" theme. Originality, creativity, aesthetics, and artistic value will be key judgment criteria.

Expert Reviewing: April 16- April 30, 2019A Review Committee will evaluate all the submitted videos and recommend winning videos to the Organizing Committee.
Winner Notifications and Awards Ceremony: May 11, 2019Results will be announced by the Organizing Committee on the contest website as well as on websites of the host and the organizer. Winning teams and individuals will receive their prizes at a concluding ceremony.

Grand Prize: 1 winner, 30,000 CNY
First Prize: 2 winners, 15,000 CNY each
Second Prize: 3 winners, 10,000 CNY each
Third Prize: 15 winners, 4,000 CNY each
VIII. Review Committee
The Organizing Committee will invite renowned experts in areas of video production, overseas studies, cultural exchanges, and international communication to form a Review Committee for the contest.
