在融入环境的同时如何展示特色,杭州的这家首饰店给出了答案
HANGZHOU – Multi-brand jewellery retailer Vita Planet has opened its second store space, continuing its collaboration with Hangzhou design practice Say Architects. Vita Planet is a brand targeted at the millennial generation – while its first store design aptly focused on the idea of ‘exploration’, the second centres on ‘balance’. It is located in a bookstore at Raffles City Hangzhou, an extensive mixed-use development completed by UNStudio in 2017.
The concept was born from the need to visually integrate the Hangzhou jewellery store within the existing book retail space. By combining materials in varying textures, contrasting colour tones and a layout with open and closed areas alike, Say Architects achieved a subtle interior that fits in its context while still retaining the vibrant spirit of Vita Planet.
Geometric, voluminous product displaysforged in acrylic, metal and stone come together as bold installations within the store. Mirrored panels in frosted and polished glass function to create optical excitement for customers perusing the jewellery options. And, enlivening the otherwise minimalistic treatments, Say Architects employed a punchy palette of red, pink, green and yellow for some finishes.
