学校简介
重庆医科大学创建于1956年，由上海第一医学院（现复旦大学上海医学院）分迁来渝组建，原名重庆医学院，1985年更名为重庆医科大学。重庆医科大学是国务院学位委员会批准的首批具有博士和硕士学位授予权的单位，教育部批准的首批来华留学示范基地，2015年成为教育部、国家卫健委和重庆市人民政府共建高校。
重庆医科大学脑科学与脑疾病研究院于2021年11月成立，是重庆医科大学最年轻、最具活力的研究院。研究院主要从事脑发育和脑疾病的相关研究，开发新的脑疾病诊疗手段和治疗药物，助力脑疾病的相关生物医药产业转型，打造一流的脑科学研发平台，培养面向社会的脑科学创新型人才。
脑科学与脑疾病研究院创建以来，已作为牵头单位获批科技创新2030-“脑科学与类脑研究”重大项目；组建的“重大脑疾病与衰老”重点实验室已入选教育部重点实验室培育建设；拥有5000余平米的实验场地以及价值6000余万元的大型仪器设备和现代化的动物行为学实验室。现有专职教师8人，兼职教授5人，其中国家级人才5人，博士生导师8人，博士、硕士研究生53名。

岗位职责
负责建设脑科学与脑疾病研究院，推动脑科学与脑医学前沿中心建设，打造一流的脑科学研发平台。从事脑发育和脑疾病的相关研究，开发新的脑疾病诊疗手段和治疗药物，助力脑疾病的相关生物医药产业转型。培养面向社会的脑科学创新型人才，推动卫生健康事业高质量发展。
人才条件
具有相关学科专业背景和研究经历，学术造诣深厚，在本学科领域取得了国际国内同行公认的学术成就。对学院学科建设工作具有战略性构想和创新性思维，具备带领本学科持续发展、创建一流学科的能力。

Chongqing Medical University Global Recruitment Plan for Top Talents
Chongqing Medical University (CQMU), formerly known as Chongqing Medical College until 1985, was founded in 1956 by partially relocating Shanghai First Medical College, which is now Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. CQMU was one of the first institutions approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council to confer doctoral and master’s degrees. It was also among the first batch of demonstration bases approved by the Ministry of Education for international students to study in China. Moreover, it has become a university jointly supported by the Ministry of Education, the National Health Commission, and the Chongqing Municipal Government since 2015.
Established in November 2021, the Institute for Brain Science and Disease is the youngest and most active research institute at CQMU. It focuses on research related to brain development and brain diseases as well as the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic methods for brain diseases, so as to facilitate the transformation of related biopharmaceutical industries, create a world-leading brain science research platform, and cultivate innovative talents in the field of neuroscience to meet the demand of society.
Since its establishment, the institute has been designated as the leading organization to undertake a major program of “Brain Science and Brain-Like Research” under Science & Technology Innovation 2030. The institute has also established the “Major Brain Diseases and Aging” key laboratory, which was selected by the Ministry of Education for focused cultivation and construction. It possesses a laboratory space of over 5,000 square meters, large equipment worth more than RMB 50 million and a modern laboratory on the studies of animal behaviors. Currently, there are 8 full-time professors and 5 part-time professors, including 5 national-level talents, 8 doctoral supervisors, and 53 graduate students.

Job Descriptions
We are looking for a new dean to join our team and foster a healthy research environment for our scientists and students. Your primary responsibilities will be to build the Institute for Brain Science and Disease, to promote the construction of cutting-edge brain science and brain medicine centers, and to create a first-class brain science research and development platform. The dean is expected to engage in researches related to brain development and brain diseases, develop new diagnostic and therapeutic methods and drugs for brain diseases, and assist in the transformation of the biopharmaceutical industry related to brain diseases; cultivate socially-oriented innovative talents in neuroscience, and promote the high-quality development of healthcare.
Talent qualities
The applicants are expected to possess a relevant educational background and research experience with profound academic attainments recognized by peers both nationally and internationally in the same field. Applicants should possess strategic perspectives and innovative thinking, as well as the ability to promote the sustainable advancement of the brain science discipline in the institute towards a world-class status.
The applicants are expected to possess a strong sense of mission and responsibility with a global perspective, good moral conduct and good health to perform job duties. Applicants who are not currently an employee of CQMU shall ensure that they can work at the university on a full-time basis.
