魅力休斯顿网综合报道 “美国新闻与世界报导”网站7月21日发布了全美2015—2016年度最佳医院排名。在癌症医院分类中，休斯顿的MD安德森癌症中心以100分的满分总分击败了去年的第一名——纽约Memorial Sloan Kettering癌症中心，重返冠军宝座。这两家全世界著名的癌症医院交替领跑，在14年中，MD安德森癌症中心有11年名列第一。

Menninger Clinic在全美最佳精神病医院中排名第5
Methodist医院连续四年排名德州第一，在全美心血管手术类中排名全美第21

据中国日报 “美国新闻与世界报导”网站从评估的全美近5000家医院中，选出了15家医院名列「荣誉榜」（Honor Roll），其中麻省总医院（Massachusetts General Hospital）被评为美国最好的综合医院。
「美国新闻与世界报导」对每家医院在16个方面进行评分，2分是高分，1分是较低分。上荣誉榜的医院至少在6个方面获得高分，荣誉总分是16个方面的整体得分。去年排名第二的麻省总医院，今年升至第一。该院各科都有很好评分，耳鼻喉、糖尿病、内分泌、神经、神经外科，和精神专科、肠胃科、外科、老年病、妇科、眼科、骨科、肺病等科别的评分尤其高。麻省总医院创立于1811年，是美国历史最悠久的三所医院之一，至今这里已诞生了13位诺贝尔奖获得者。
