中国是世界最大的箱包生产国。新冠疫情发生三年来，由于人员的长途流动受限，箱包行业遭受重创。但随着全球防疫政策的逐步放宽，该行业也逐渐“回春”。为了解箱包行业的发展趋势，中国国际电视台记者曹楚枫走访了广州市一个以生产制造箱包而闻名的地方。
China is the biggest suitcase and bag producer in the world. Since the onset of the pandemic three years ago, the industry has been hit hard due to limited long term travels. But it is now gradually bouncing back, as the coronavirus control restriction eases across the world. Cao Chufeng visits a place in Guangzhou that is famous for producing suitcases and bags, to see the business prospects.
近日，广州市花都区狮岭箱包皮具产业集群入选了中央政府公布的国家级产业集群名单。
There are so many businesses involving suitcases, bags and leather goods located here in Guangzhou's Huadu district, that it was recently included in a national level list of industrial clusters announced by the central government.
中国海关总署公布的一份报告显示，2022年中国箱包出口额同比增长三分之一。花都区本土企业也见证了同样的增长态势。
A report by China's General Administration of Customs shows, the export of suitcases and bags increased by around one-third in 2022, compared with the previous year. And local businesses in Huadu have seen the same trend.
汪菁，广州市利尚皮具有限公司总经理表示，“2022年，我们的销售额增长了30%，数字化转型帮了大忙。公司产品的质量提升了，效率更高了。对客户而言，成本也降低了。”
WANG JING, General Manager, Nadia Lishang Leather Products Co.,Ltd "In 2022, our business increased by 30%. The digital transformation has helped a lot. The quality of our products is better, the efficiency is higher, and the cost for our customer is decreased."
记者指出，“这里有两台皮革切割机，一台是传统式，另一台是数字控制式。据厂家介绍，相较于前者，后者工作效率更高，做工也更精细，所有机器都是由中央系统控制的。”
CAO CHUFENG, Guangzhou "This is a traditional leather cutting machine, and this is a digitally-controlled one. The owner says it is much more efficient, and the work is done more precisely. And all of these machines are controlled using a central system."
花都区大多数箱包生产制造企业都坐落在狮岭镇。一位地方政府官员认为，箱包产业将会在2023年迎来新飞跃。
Most suitcase and bag producers in Huadu are located in Shiling Town. And a local official believes in 2023 the industry will see an even bigger development.
广州市花都区狮岭镇镇长黄仲廷表示，“狮岭镇会迎来更多的国际交流机遇，也会有更多参加国际展会的机会。与此同时，中国也在努力提振国内消费。”
HUANG ZHONGTING, Mayor of Shiling Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou "There will be more international exchanges and more opportunities for us to participate in international exhibitions, which will increase the number of orders. And the same time, China is also trying to boost domestic consumption."
中国国际电视台记者曹楚枫表示，受访企业和黄镇长看法一致。企业声称，“稳产稳供以及国外客户的来访将给他们带来更多的商机。”
Businesses I talked to shared the same view as their mayor. They said stabilized production and allowing foreign customers to visit their factory, will give them more business opportunities. Cao Chufeng, CGTN, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.
